**The Soisalo Institute offers diverse hobby and study opportunities for people of all ages at the adult education centre, as well as artistic subjects at the music school and in the visual arts, crafts and dance schools.**

The Soisalo Institute operates as an educational institution maintained by the City of Varkaus in the Joroinen, Varkaus and Heinävesi areas, and, with regard to basic education in the arts, in the Leppävirta area, and, with regard to the music school, also in Pieksämäki.

Anyone can enrol on all courses regardless of municipal boundaries.

## Basic education in the arts

Start an artistic hobby at the Soisalo Institute! Places are filled in order of enrolment. An interest in the subject is enough, and we also offer a chance to try things out.
