**The Kotkatharju outdoor recreation area is located near the central built-up area of Joroinen, right beside Highway 5. With its biodiversity and varied range of services, the area offers unique outdoor experiences for every visitor.**

The outdoor recreation area is open year-round and features, among other things, outdoor and cycling routes of varying lengths, one of the largest concentrations of disc golf courses in Finland, the Kartanogolf golf course, a local heritage museum, a ski jumping centre, a shooting sports centre, Restaurant Kesäkartano, and Bomila Resort, which offers forest suite accommodation.

The area is suitable for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and fitness levels — for a trip for the whole family or, for example, as a destination for a company recreation day.

For winter sports, Kotkatharju offers challenging skiing conditions as well as K50, K35, K16 and K5 ski jumping hills. The plastic-coated hills make year-round use possible.
