The sectors are divided into result areas and the units under them.** ## Sectors and result areas The result areas belonging to the **general administration sector** are administration, economic affairs, group services, employment management and information management. The result areas belonging to the **technical sector** are technical administration and community planning, environmental affairs, municipal engineering, property and food services, agricultural and forest estates, building control, private road matters, technical sector projects and the water utility. Subsidiary entities are companies in which the municipality has controlling power in accordance with the Accounting Act. Foundations under the controlling power of the municipality also belong to the municipal group. The budget is prepared taking into account the responsibilities and obligations of the municipal group, and it sets the annual objectives for operations and finances.
