The task of the sewerage utility is to treat the wastewater of households and other properties efficiently.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Joroinen water utility has two groundwater intake plants. The wastewater treatment plants are located in the church village and in Kuvansi. The operating areas of the municipal water utility are mainly limited to built-up areas. Three of these are estimated invoices and one is an equalisation invoice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can report your water meter readings in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kulutus-web.com\/joroinen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kulutus-Web<\/a>. Through the service you also get information about your property&#8217;s water consumption history and you can see a yearly estimate of your upcoming water bill in euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you report the meter reading via Kulutus-Web, you do not need to return the meter reading card. If you have a publicly available phone number, you do not need to register it separately. If you have a secret or blocked phone number or a work line, you must register your phone number below in order to receive the text messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The owner of a rental or holiday home, summer cottage or similar may also register their phone number for the address they wish, if their permanent home address is elsewhere. Enter your contact details in the fields for the addresses from which you wish to receive notices. You can subscribe to notices for several addresses for yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We automatically send a text message to residents over the age of 16 whose phone number and address are public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container\"><div class=\"iframe-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/servicealert.fi\/iFrame\/subscription?customerId=ca501577-874c-4f9d-b7f6-92340f99f824&#038;showLandline=1\" width=\"100%\" height=\"550\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"dg-spacer tiny\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Water quality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-dg-arrow-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joroinen.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/Joroisten-vesilaitos-kayttotarkkailu-041125.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Household water analysis 4 November 2025 (PDF)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Plant operations and network maintenance 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the water intake plants, 219,508 m\u00b3 of household water was pumped and the invoiced amount of water was 193,092 m\u00b3. 154,578 m\u00b3 of wastewater was received and the invoiced amount of wastewater was 114,727 m\u00b3. 61,187 m\u00b3 of water was sold to cooperatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The taxed price of household water in built-up areas was \u20ac1.72\/m\u00b3 (VAT 24%), and from 1 September \u20ac1.74\/m\u00b3 (VAT 25.5%), and the price of wastewater was \u20ac3.14\/m\u00b3 (VAT 24%) and from 1 September \u20ac3.18\/m\u00b3 (VAT 25.5%). The price of household water invoiced from cooperatives was \u20ac1.40\/m\u00b3 (VAT 24%) and from 1 September \u20ac1.42\/m\u00b3 (VAT 25.5%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation of the plant continued in the established manner. The quality of the household water met the health-related and technical requirements set for it. The household water is of medium hardness.
