Central Savo employment area
The employment services of the Central Savo area provide support and advice on matters related to employment. The services are intended for job seekers, employers and entrepreneurs. Customers are served face to face in Joroinen, Varkaus, Pieksämäki and Leppävirta.
The Central Savo employment area comprises Joroinen, Varkaus, Pieksämäki and Leppävirta. From 1 January 2025, services have been available as local services in every municipality of the employment area. Varkaus acts as the responsible municipality. The activities of the employment area are led by employment area director Anna Tolvanen, and the services are managed by the employment area committee, which has ten members from all municipalities of the employment area.
