Municipal government

The municipal government directs the administration of the Municipality of Joroinen, takes care of the municipality’s administrative duties and is responsible for ensuring that the strategies and objectives approved by the council are implemented efficiently and effectively.

From 2021 onwards, the council elects 7 members to the municipal government and a personal deputy member for each of them for a two-year term of office, which begins or ends when the term of office of the councillors changes. From among the members of the municipal government, the council elects the chairperson of the municipal government as well as the first and second vice-chairpersons.
