Sports and hobbies
Joroinen has a wide range of sports facilities for both outdoor and indoor exercise. At your disposal are, for example, sports fields, swimming beaches, disc golf courses, as well as the sports hall and gym. The Joroinen library serves the church village, and the regional library bus Jasso Toenperä serves the sparsely populated area and Kuvansi.
Events, venues and tourism
The village community of Joroinen offers events ranging from the evening market to music days and a triathlon. The ridge landscapes, trails, disc golf and Kartanogolf invite you outdoors, and a wide range of accommodation introduces you to the history of the area. Associations and clubs complement the offering with the support of the municipality.

Grants for education, culture and leisure services
Organisations and activity groups can apply to the municipality for operating grants for their own activities. The grants are distributed at discretion, and they are paid against actual receipts or instructor diaries.
During the year, an organisation may apply for a grant for the same purpose from only one operational unit (culture, sports or youth). Organisations must submit the financial statement documents to the grantor annually.
