Young Enterprise (NYT)

The Municipality of Joroinen supports young entrepreneurs participating in the Young Enterprise (NYT) programme.
Young Enterprise support can be granted to a Joroinen-resident student born in 2002–2010 who has founded an NYT enterprise that operates during 2026.

The recipient of Young Enterprise support undertakes to participate in the guidance organised by Joroinen Upper Secondary School or another upper secondary school, as well as in the entrepreneurship coaching organised by the NYT programme.

The recipient of support must have liability insurance for their business activities, either provided by the NYT programme or other liability insurance.
A condition for receiving the support is a turnover of at least 500 euros through the established business activity. Please note that if the enterprise has more than one person, the turnover of the enterprise must be 500 euros per person.

For the business activity, an informal business plan, mission statement and marketing plan must be drawn up, which will be reviewed together with the business specialist of the Municipality of Joroinen and/or the school’s study counsellor.

The support is paid in two instalments. The first instalment (300 euros) when the business activity has started, and the second instalment (200 euros) when the required turnover threshold has been reached and an informal report on the enterprise’s activities and the income received has been drawn up for the payer of the support.
The report must be made by 30 November 2026.

The amount of Young Enterprise support in 2026 is 500 euros / person.
A condition for the full payment of the support is also the minimum turnover threshold, 500 euros / person operating as an entrepreneur.

In 2026, support is paid to a maximum of ten entrepreneurs in the order in which applications are received.
