Food services
Food services offer high-quality and diverse meal services in two production kitchens at Joroinen school centre and Kuvansi school.
On school days, approximately 850 customers eat at the municipality’s various facilities, such as schools, daycare centres and children’s group homes.
Food services prepare meals ordered by customers, taking into account nutritional requirements and nutrition recommendations for different customer groups, special diets, the food supply chain, and the budget allocated for operations.
The goal of food services is to provide high-quality, healthy and cost-effective meal services for the needs of different customer groups. All activities from planning menus to selecting ingredients and implementation aim to ensure that the food is nutritious and diverse, appetising and tasty.
