Last year, the Families project run by North Savo Sports Federation operated in Joroinen. As part of the project, North Savo Sports Federation, together with local sports clubs and associations, organised a weekly Perheloikkis club. The activities got families moving in many different ways and received plenty of positive feedback.

Now the activity continues! Joroinen’s Perhepuuhis starts in the summer as a collaboration between local associations. This club, open and free of charge to all families with children, meets on Saturdays roughly every two weeks. Sport and physical activity remain at the heart of the activities, but there is plenty more on offer for the whole family.

General information

Perhepuuhis is always held on Saturdays. As a rule, the event starts at 14:00 and lasts 90 minutes, ending at 15:30. There may be exceptions, such as the Autumn Disco, which does not start until 16:00. No pre-registration or commitment is required to take part, and participation is always free of charge.

Perhepuuhis lead organiser:

Responsibility for running Perhepuuhis rotates between the different associations. However, the goal of the activity is the same for everyone: to bring families together, to increase families’ wellbeing, and to spread the Joroinen spirit. So don’t leave your child alone at Perhepuuhis – come together as a family. Young children are the responsibility of their parents at the events.
