The elected officials’ organisation of the municipality of Joroinen consists of the Municipal Council, the Municipal Government and the committees. The members of the bodies are elected for the Council’s term of office.

The municipality’s official elected officials’ organisation consists of the Municipal Council, the audit committee, the Municipal Government, the education committee and the technical committee:

The joint committees are the basic services committee (host municipality Varkaus), the Keski-Savo environmental committee (host municipality Leppävirta) and the rural affairs committee (host municipality Rantasalmi).

Register of interests

The municipality’s key elected officials and senior office-holders must declare their ties to the audit committee. The declarations are published on the public information network within two months of being elected to the position.

Ties are declared by the Chair and Deputy Chairs of the Council, the members and presenting official of the Municipal Government, the Chairs and Deputy Chairs and presenting officials of the committees, and the members and deputy members of the technical committee.
