The Keski-Savo environmental services provide veterinary care services for the municipalities of Joroinen and Leppävirta and the towns of Pieksämäki and Varkaus.

Municipal veterinarians take care of animal health and the treatment of illnesses at municipal level. Veterinary care is responsible for basic health care and treatment of illnesses for all domestic animals. It also secures urgent veterinary help on every day of the year and at all times of day.
