Food services
The food services provide high-quality and varied meal services in two production kitchens, at the Joroinen school centre and at Kuvansi school.
About 850 customers dine on school days at the municipality’s various locations, such as schools, daycare centres and children’s group homes.
The food services prepare the meals ordered by customers, taking into account, among other things, nutritional requirements and the nutritional recommendations of different customer groups, special diets, the supply chain of foodstuffs and the budget allocated to the activity.
The aim of the food service is to offer high-quality, healthy and cost-effective meal services for the needs of different customer groups. All activity, from menu planning to the selection of ingredients and preparation, aims to ensure that the food is nutritious and varied, appetising and tasty.
