Family day care

In Joroinen, family day care is provided in the church village. Family day care is well suited as the first early childhood education place for a child aged 0–3.

In family day care, a child can form a secure attachment with their carer and enjoy the benefits of a small group of children.

Family day care offers children a homelike environment for growth and learning, where children can take part in household chores. The carers also plan and organise shared moments of play, exercise and crafts for the children.

From family day care, children move on to a daycare centre no later than the beginning of the operating year in which they turn four.
