Recycling points and sorting

Recycling points are intended for recyclable household waste suitable for utilisation. In the operating area of Central Savo Waste Management, there are both recycling points maintained and managed by Central Savo Waste Management and Rinki recycling points maintained by Finnish Packaging Recycling RINKI Ltd. The Rinki recycling points belong to the nationwide Rinki recycling point network.

Joroinen sorting station

Free reception of scrap metal, hazardous waste and WEEE scrap.

Hazardous waste and electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) can also be taken directly to the Riikinneva waste centre. Contact details and opening hours can be found on the Central Savo Waste Management website.

Chargeable reception of mixed waste and glass and ceramic waste.

• Small furniture (e.g. armchair, 80–90 cm bed, table, chair) 10 €/item

Recycling centre

The recycling centre and flea market for items to be discarded are located at the premises of the Joroinen workshop of the Central Savo Employment Area, where intact and tidy usable goods are accepted: furniture, dishes, decorative items, toys, household linen and other usable items.

The recycling centre and flea market also serves as a collection point for discarded textiles.

Ekotori municipal tours

The Ekotori recycling vehicle makes municipal tours once a month in the municipalities of the waste management area. You can return WEEE devices in any condition to the vehicle, as well as other recyclable household goods.
